Each year, the Knights of Columbus Utah State Council presents awards for outstanding projects undertaken by councils throughout the state, as well as bestowing college scholarships and recognizing an exemplary family and individual Knight. A list of this year’s recipients follows. 
Utah Knights of Columbus and the Columbia Society scholarships: Rachel Payne and Madison Lopez
To Be a Patriot Award: Fr. Escalante Assembly 1146, serving St. Francis of Assisi, St. Peter and San Andres parishes in Utah County
Culture of Life Award: “Baby Bottle Campaign,” St. Olaf Council 5502, Bountiful
Council Activity Award: “Friday Night Bingo,” Bishop Hunt Council 5214, St. Francis Xavier Parish, Kearns
Youth Activity Award: “Focus on Youth,” St. Thomas More Council 11479,  Sandy
Family Activity Award: “Furnace for a Family in Need,” Mother Teresa of Calcutta Council 12181, St. John the Baptist Parish, Draper
Community Activity Award: “Holiday Food Baskets,” Bishop Hunt Council 5214, St. Francis Xavier Parish, Kearns
Church Activity Award: “St. Christopher Church Remodel,” Fr. Joseph Valine Council 11246, Cedar City
Family of the Year: the Dan and Ginny Foslid family of St. Thomas More Council 11479, Sandy
Knight of the Year: David Loftus, Mother Teresa of Calcutta Council 12181, St. John the Baptist Parish, Draper
