Ageless Achievers celebrated

Saint Catherine of Siena/Catholic Newman Center honored its members who are 80 or older with a special blessing that was given by Dominican Father Peter Do at the end of Mass on Feb. 19. The Mass was followed by a reception. The community also celebrated the 90th birthday of Loretta Nilolai (right, with Dominican Father Carl Schlichte, pastor), a long-time active parishioner. Two members of the group, Lois Connaty and Eileen O'Hare, are confined to care centers, and those at the reception recorded messages in books to be sent to them. Another group member, Chuck Jahne, was out of town. Messages were recorded for him as well. These ‘Ageless Achievers' have been active servants of Christ for many years.
