SALT LAKE CITY — Alexander Russell Atkin, 22, passed away Dec. 12, 2011 in Taylorsville as a result of a hit-and-run accident. Atkin was born Nov. 21, 1989 to Brian W. and Margaret Farr Atkin. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Utah Jazz and Colorado Rockies. He had many friends who will miss him greatly. Atkin is survived by his parents; brother, Christopher W. (Jasmine); nephew, Jaten W. and two uncles, Korey R. (Linda) and J.R. Hart. Memorial services were held at Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church.
