Loving Mother & Grandmother

Alvera Marie Krupowicz returned to Jesus on Jan. 9, 2017.

She was born Aug. 9, 1937 in Chicago, Ill. to Veronica and Alexander Carbone. She worked for Burlington Railroad and UPS. She met her loving husband, Raymond J. Krupowicz and they remained happily married until he passed in June of 1978. 

She loved her family, especially her grandchild, Christianne M. Murphy. Alvera loved life to the fullest; gardening and studying the Bible were her life passions. She enjoyed taking long walks with her special Yorkie companion, Leo.

She is survived by her children, Rosemarie (David) Murphy, Laura Krupowicz and John Krupowicz; and her granddaughter.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her brother Ralph Carbone.

A celebration of her life and a memorial service were held on Jan. 16.
