April 16, 1925 – Jan. 25, 2017
Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, Andres Corsino Romero, 91, of West Valley City, Utah passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on Jan. 25, 2017.
He was born on April 16, 1925 in Vadito, N.M. to Laudes and Eulalia Romero. He married Livaina Martinez and they spent 53 wonderful years together.
Andy proudly served in the U.S. Army and became a World War II veteran. He worked for many years in the silver and copper mines and later at Anaconda.
He was a loving member of the Saints Peter and Paul Parish, where he dedicated a big part of his life. Andy enjoyed fishing, working in his garden, trips to Wendover, crossword puzzles, keeping busy and spending time with his loved ones. He will be sorely missed by all who knew his kind, selfless and loving soul.
He is survived by his children Gloria, Rudy, Violet and Mike; three brothers and one sister; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; two sisters; and the love of his life, Lee.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Caregiver Network Hospice and Dr. Larry Dixon of the V.A. for their loving care.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 30 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
