SALT LAKE CITY — Antonio (Tony) Juan Martinez, 66, died March 1, 2011. Martinez was born June 20, 1944, in La Jara, Colo. He was born blind, but saw with his heart. He loved his family, nieces, nephews, and many friends. For most of his life he lived at home. He loved camping, family parties, and holidays. His enjoyments in life were simple, yet he shared his life long memories with those he befriended. His greatest joy was to be with his sister and brothers. He is survived by his sister Irene Gonzalez; brothers Jake, Robert, Edward, and E. J. Martinez, all of Utah; his Aunt Angelita; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Patrick Catholic Church. Committal, Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
