Utah Steel Drum Festival — Saturday, Feb. 18, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Juan Diego Catholic High School auditorium, 300 East 11400 South, Draper. Free and open to the public, this competitive event features high school steel drum bands from throughout the state.

Elder Care Presentation — Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 7 p.m., at Saint John the Baptist Parish, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. Topics include welfare and care of the elderly, with special focus on health care needs and issues, estate planning and community resources. A licensed counselor, social worker and attorney will give the presentation and be available for questions.
