The Annunciation of the Lord — Saturday, March 25. Because the fifth Sunday of Lent (March 26) ranks higher than the solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, the Saturday Vigil Mass should be that of the Fifth Sunday of Lent. At Masses outside the usual parish schedule, the Mass of the Annunciation of the Lord may be used.
