Spree 2019 “Casablanca” — Saturday, April 27, 5:30 p.m. at the Monarch, 451-499 25th St., Ogden, to benefit St. Joseph Catholic Schools. Divine Mercy Sunday Services — Sunday, April 28 at St. James the Just Catholic Church, 495 N. Harrison, Ogden. Confessions will start at 1 p.m. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be sung at 3 p.m. followed by Mass, which will be concelebrated by Bishop Oscar A. Solis. A reception will follow.

Divine Mercy Sunday Services — Sunday, April 28 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights. Confessions will be available beginning at 1:30 p.m. The Divine Mercy Chaplet begins at 3 p.m. and will be followed by Mass.

Divine Mercy Sunday Services — Sunday, April 28 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 4914 South 2200 West, Taylorsville. Beginning at 3 p.m. O Salutaris Hostia will be sung and there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available. At 3:30 p.m. participants will sing Tantum Ergo, followed by Benediction and prayers.

Madeleine Festival Opening Concert — Sunday, April 28, 8 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC featuring The Cantorum Chamber Choir with director Steve Durtschi. Free; open to the public.

The Joy of Easter: Youth’s Evening of Praise & Adoration — Friday, May 3, 6-9:30 p.m. at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 624 Lennox St., Midvale. Catholic Peace and Justice Seminar — Saturday, May 4, 10 a.m. to noon at St. Ambrose Parish’s Vaughn Center, 2315 E. Redondo Ave., SLC. The seminar will review the seven Catholic Social Teaching themes and help participants develop a social ministry in their parishes and communities. Dream Builder’s Breakfast — Wednesday, May 15, 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center, 2415 Washington Blvd., Ogden. Sponsored by Catholic Community Services of Northern Utah. $40. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m.

Choir Director Needed — Immaculate Conception Church in Copperton is in need of a volunteer choir director and musical accompanists, especially piano/keyboard player and/or guitarist. The choir director is responsible for planning all Mass liturgies, including the weekly 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass, holy day Masses and special occasions.  The director leads the choir during all liturgies, conducts regular practices, and participates as a member of the liturgy committee.
