Saint John the Baptist Parish 12th Annual Festival of Roses — May 13 - 15. Friday, May 13: Carnival rides and games from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. There will be a family dinner and a live band on the outdoor stage. Saturday, May 14: Open the day with the 5K Run at 8 a.m. The fun continues all day with carnival rides, games and activities. Festival of Roses 5K Run/1 Mile Fun Walk — Saturday, May 14, at 8 a.m., in the circle of the Skaggs Catholic Center, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. Registration fees on race day are: 5K Run -$18 adults, $12 children 12 and under. Fun Walk -$12. There will be prizes in each of the different categories of race participants, raffles, and refreshments. Race coordinator is Michelle Bullett, 801-870-3851. Mass of Thanksgiving — The Most Reverend John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City, cordially invites you to a Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, May 22, at 2 p.m., at Saint Ann Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South, Salt Lake City, honoring Reverend Monsignor J. Terrence Fitzgerald, PA, VG, as Monsignor retires from active ministry. A reception will follow in the parish center.

Saint Olaf School Parking Lot Sale — Saturday, April 30, St. Olaf Catholic School will hold a multi-family Parking Lot Sale from 8 a.m. to noon at 1800 S. Orchard Drive, Bountiful. Individuals will man their own space to sell clothing, furniture, appliances, toys, arts and crafts, sporting goods, decorating pieces and other items. Coffee and donuts will be sold. Dessert Pops — May 2-3 at 7 p.m. in the Juan Diego Catholic High School Little Theater, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and children 16 and under, students and faculty, free. Tickets will be sold at the door.

‘Annie’— May 4-5 at 7 p.m. Saint John the Baptist Middle School musical to be held in the Juan Diego Catholic High School auditorium, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. This musical is free and open to the public.

High School Drama Showcase — May 10-11 at 7 p.m. in the Juan Diego Catholic High School auditorium, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. Free and open to the public.

All Campus Art Show — May 9, Booster BBQ at 5 p.m.; awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Display featuring student art from kindergarten through 12th grade. Display will be in the Juan Diego Catholic High School Great Hall May 2-13, and is free and open to the public.

Judge Memorial Catholic High School annual Spring Music Concert — Friday, May 6, at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium, 650 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City. All groups will perform: Chamber Strings, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Madrigal Choir and Show Choir. Selections will include music from all genres, and there will also be special performances from seniors. Come and support these talented performers as they wind down their musical year. Judge Memorial Catholic High School 7th Annual Psychology Fair — Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the foyer of the Judge auditorium. Psychology and AP psychology students will display and discuss their original psychological research. Parents and friends are invited to visit, and serve informally as judges. All are welcome.

Our Lady of Lourdes, Magna, Golf Tournament — Saturday, June 25, shotgun start at 7 a.m. Join us for an 18-hole, 4-person scramble at West Ridge Golf Course, 5055 S. Westridge Blvd. (5955 West), West Valley City. The cost is $75, which includes a cart, lunch and drinks. Fees must be paid by May 15. The cost is $85 at the door. An Evening of Enchantment — Saturday, May 7, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Join J.E. Cosgriff Parents for the Cosgriff Prom 2011. Youth Ministry — The Office of Youth Ministry will host three summer camps, "Saints and Super-heroes." The Family Camp is from July 29-31 at $35 per person. Junior High Camp for students going into grades 7-9 is July 31-Aug. 5; cost is $255. Elementary Camp for students going into grades 4-6 is Aug. 7-10; cost is $195.
