Lenten Retreat — Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16-17 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven, beginning with the parish’s Lenten prayer services on Friday. On Saturday from 9 a.m. to the 5 p.m. Mass will be a day of reflection with Fr. Alan Benander, O. Praem. from St. Michael’s Norbertine Abbey. Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion — Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. The diocesan rite for the Salt Lake Deanery will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.; for the Eastern, Northern and Southwestern deaneries it will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m.

Blue Mass —
honoring all law enforcement, firefighters and first responders. Sunday, Feb. 18, 8:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. The Mass will be followed by a complimentary breakfast; freewill donations will be collected and donated to the UPOA Fallen Officer Trail Ride Scholarship Fund. Pastoral Center Closed — The Diocese of Salt Lake City Pastoral Center will be closed Monday, Feb. 19, in honor of Presidents’ Day. The Pastoral Center will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Msgr. Benvegnu Lecture — Monday, March 12, 7 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 1375 E. Spring Lane, SLC. Ruth Dillon, director of the diocesan Office of Liturgy, will present “Understanding Holy Week.” Free and open to the public.

The 8th Annual St. Mary Men’s Retreat — is open to all men in the Diocese of Salt Lake City.  The retreat, Aug. 10-12 in Bloomington, Idaho, will focus on the book “7 Secrets of Confession.” It will be bilingual English/Spanish.
