Forty Days for Life — The 40-day campaign of prayer, fasting and peaceful activism with the purpose of bringing an end to abortion will begin Sept. 22. Ignatian Retreat — 30-week Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius presented by Catherine Morgan Ph.D. will begin Thursday, Sept. 23. Weekly group meeting via Zoom, structured daily private prayer and an experienced companion joins with each retreatant to provide guidance. Cost: $20/session, plus $60 for books and materials. Life Chain — Sunday, Sept. 26, 1-2 p.m.; 10600 S. State St., Sandy. This is a peaceful, prayerful, public witness for unborn life. Signs will be provided.

Conference on Saint Therese of Lisieux — Tuesday, Sept. 30 and Wednesday, Oct. 1 presented by Fr. Thomas Reeves, OCD, at the Carmelite monastery, 5714 E. Holladay Blvd., SLC.  Conferences will be at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 1. All are welcome.

Intercultural Marian Celebration — Saturday, Oct. 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 506 24th St., Ogden. Procession at 3 p.m.; Mass at 5 p.m. All are invited.

Eccles Organ Festival Recital — Sunday, Oct. 10, 8 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E.  South Temple, SLC.  Benjamin LaPrairie, organist at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, D.C. Volunteers Needed — The St. Vincent Homeless Center in Salt Lake City is in need of volunteers for multiple shifts. All safety protocols have been put into place. Volunteers Needed — Those wishing to volunteer with Catholic Community Services in the Ogden area may assist in the warehouse, sorting donated food items, tracking inventory, and assembling boxes and bags of food for clients.
