First Sunday Filipino Mass — Sunday, April 7, 3:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 670 South 1100 East, SLC. Fr. Rodelio Ignacio will be the celebrant. Hosted by the Misang Bayan Filipino Community.

Divine Mercy Sunday — Sunday, April 7. St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 1375 E. Spring Lane, Holladay, will have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament beginning at 12:30 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 2:30 p.m. and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3 p.m., followed by benediction.

Divine Mercy Sunday — Sunday, April 7. St. Francis Xavier Parish, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns, will have a Holy Hour at 4 p.m. with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, the Rosary, meditation, a short homily and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. All are welcome.

The Solemnity of the Annunciation — will be observed Monday, April 8. The celebration normally falls on March 25; however, because this year it falls during Holy Week, observance is transferred.

Young Adult and Youth Concert — Wednesday, April 10, 6:30 p.m. at St. James the Just Catholic Church, 495 N. Harrison Blvd., Ogden, featuring music from Baroque, classical, romantic and modern eras. Guest artists will be Alfonso Tenreiro, students from St. Joseph Catholic High School, and Allegro String Quartet; also featuring the premiere of Alfonso Tenreiro’s String Quartet #1. Free and open to the public.

Joe Heschmeyer Presentation — Friday-Saturday, April 12-13 at St. John the Baptist Parish, 300 East 11800 South in Draper. Joe Heschmeyer, staff apologist for Catholic Answers and author of The Eucharist is Really Jesus, will present a five-part speaking series titled “Unlocking the Faith.” The two presentations on Friday will be at 6 and 7 :30 p.m. The events on Saturday will be at 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Free and open to the public.
