Divine Mercy Chaplet Novena — for all the sick and suffering in the community. Continues through Saturday, April 7, 3 p.m. each day at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1505 White Pine Canyon Road, Park City. The devotion takes about 20 minutes and is prayed with the rosary. English and Spanish devotional guides available.

MLK Jr. Memorial — “Getting to the Mountaintop: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 50-year Memorial,” presented by Paul White, PhD. A discussion will follow. Tuesday, April 3, 7 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center 170 University St., SLC.

Parish Game Night — Friday, April 6 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 65 East 500 North, Orem. Dinner at 6:30 p.m., games start at 7 p.m. Cost: $14.

Divine Mercy Sunday — April 8 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 Creek Road, Sandy. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available beginning at 1:30 p.m. The Divine Mercy Chaplet begins at 3 p.m., followed by Mass with Bishop Oscar A. Solis as the main celebrant. All are welcome.

Hour of Mercy — Sunday, April 8, 3-4 p.m. at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 4914 South 2200 West, Taylorsville. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, singing of the Divine Mercy chaplet with piano accompaniment, the litany to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, silent prayer and benediction. All are welcome.

A Holy Hour for Mercy — Sunday, April 8, 1-2 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven. Led by Deacon Jack Clark and the St. Mary Catholic Church Choir. Includes Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and the chanting of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. All are welcome.

Madeleine Festival Concert — Sunday, April 8, 8 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. Featuring guest artists the American Festival Chorus and Orchestra, the Lux Singers and the Cache Children’s Choir performing Vaughan William’s oratorio
Sancta Civitas (The Holy City), and cantata Dona Nobis Pacem (Plea for Peace). Free and open to the public.

An Evening of Prayer for Immigration — Monday, April 9, 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. Begins with an hour of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with Taizé prayers led by high school and university students. At 8 p.m. Catholic Community Services of Utah will host an informational session on DACA and immigration. All are welcome.
