Knights of Columbus dinner/dance —  Saturday, Oct. 18, 6:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1700 East 9800 South, Sandy. 40 Days For Life — Pray for an end to abortion this Fall by participating in the 40 Days For Life. From Sept. 24 to Nov. 2, groups from around the country will gather and offer prayers in front of places where the lives of  unborn children are taken. The local prayer campaign will take place in front of the Planned Parenthood Metro at 160 South 1000 East, Salt Lake City.
