Stewardship Seminar — Tuesday, Oct. 4, 6-8:30 p.m. at St Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 E. Creek Road, Sandy. The speaker is Fr. Darrin Gurr of St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish of Winnipeg, Manitoba. For stewardship/DDD workers in the diocese, but all are welcome.

Free Concert — The Saint Ann’s Bell Choir will perform a free concert on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 7 p.m. at the church, 450 East 2100 South, SLC.  All are welcome.

Adult Faith Formation — Explore the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in detail. Tuesdays, beginning Oct. 4, 7-8:30 p.m.  in St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish’s Culleton Hall, 624 W. Christ in the City SLC — is an opportunity for Catholic young adults for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a Holy Hour and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 7 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. Social time follows. All are welcome. 

Leadership Workshop — Saturday, Oct. 8, 12:30-3:30 p.m. in St. George Parish’s Kuzy Hall, 259 West 200 North, St. George. Speakers will be Annie Smith, DCCW membership and resource team co-chairperson, and Tami Bernstein, MAPS, ecclesial minister. All women invited. Parish Game Night — Saturday, Oct. 8, 7 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church’s social hall, 670 South 1100 East, SLC. Cost: games; dinner $5.

Eccles Organ Festival — Sunday Oct. 9, 8 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, Organ recital with Jens Korndörfer of the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, Ga. Free and open to the public.  

Fall Music Concert — Monday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m. in the Judge Memorial CHS auditorium, 650 South 1100 East, SLC. Performing are the Concert Choir, Jazz Band, Concert Band, and Orchestra. All are invited. 

Spaghetti Dinner — Saturday, Oct. 15, 5:30-8 p.m. at Holy Family Parish, 1100 East 5550 South, South Ogden. Adults/$10; children age 5 – 11/$5; children age 4 and younger are free. Basket raffles and 50/50 drawing.  Take out available.  

Teen Suicide Presentation — Wednesday, Oct. 21, 7-8 p.m. in St. John the Baptist Parish’s Conference Room A, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. Hosted by the parish youth group, which welcomes participation from any youth groups in the area. Facilitators will be Deacon Paul Graham, youth minister, and Joel Anderson, suicide prevention program coordinator for the Utah National Guard.

Fashion Show Luncheon — The annual Catholic Woman’s League event will be Saturday, Oct. 22 at Little America Hotel, 500 S. Main, SLC. This year’s proceeds will benefit Kearns-St. Ann School’s reading program and the Weigand Homeless Resource Center. Tickets are $38; RSVP to patty@camrina.com or 801-571-6952.

Three-part training by the Diocese of Salt Lake City and Catholic Relief Services: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 29, Nov. 19 and Dec. 10. Registration required. St. Joseph Villa Volunteer Luncheon — Saturday, Nov. 5, starting with an 11:30 a.m. social at the St. Ambrose Parish social center, 1975 South 2300 East, SLC. “A Nutty Affair” is the theme and The “Mixed Nuts Band” will create the feel of a fun and crazy, nutty party.
