From time to time, I have the pleasure of hosting dinner at the “Bishop’s Residence” for people who have contributed to their parish, school or catholic institution by purchasing a dinner at my residence. This past week the Cathedral of the Madeleine Choir School and Blessed Sacrament Parish and School sponsored two such dinners. These are wonderful events that allow me to get to know our faithful better and to enjoy some darn good cooking! The participants seem pleased and I am delighted that their generosity can assist our catholic institutions as well as provide for an enjoyable evening that deepens the bonds that unite us.
