Benedictine Sisters Tip Their Hats to AB Wester + Enlarge

The Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict are profoundly grateful for Archbishop Wester’s service to the people of the Diocese of Salt Lake City.
We will be holding him in prayer during this time of transition.
Our prayers, too, are with the people of Utah who have been gifted with his leadership these past years, and with those in Santa Fe, N.M., who will be blessed by his presence among them in the future.
Our whole community joins in wishing you grace, peace and many blessings, Archbishop Wester.
We would also like to share some personal messages of gratitude and support from sisters who served with you in recent years.

Archbishop Wester
We wish you well. May the peace of Christ be with you in all you do so that, as we Benedictines would say: “In all things God may be glorified.”
Sister Michaela Hedican
Prioress, Saint Benedict’s Monastery, St. Joseph, Minn.

To Archbishop Wester, we send greetings, gratitude and prayers for God’s blessing as you move forward on your Spirit-guided journey. We have glad memories of your interest and support of our sisters, especially when we moved through the difficult time of our departure from the diocese. Your kind words and frequent presence were much appreciated.
Sisters Jean Gibson, Danile Knight and Mary Zenzen

Bishop Wester has been a very supportive bishop and his leadership has been a positive experience for our diocese.
Wishing him well in his future as he responds to the call of the larger Church.
Sister Marilyn Mark

Thank you, Archbishop Wester, for being a good shepherd for your flock in Utah. I especially appreciated your love and concern for all. May you find your time in Santa Fe to be fruitful for the flock there. You have much to give and are generous with those gifts. May God’s blessings be with you and do know of my prayers for you.
With love and gratitude,
Sister Luke Hoschette

Archbishop Wester,
Pope Francis recognized you as one of his true shepherds in calling you to serve the people of Santa Fe, N.M.
Experiencing your wise, gentle and respectful leadership in the Salt Lake City diocese strengthened me with courage and hope in my ministry as a member of Mount Benedict Monastery.
Celebrating with you on many occasions were moments of empowerment through your words of love and gratitude for all the people of Utah. May the God of peace keep you whole and entire, body, soul and spirit, as you continue to draw people to know Christ Jesus.
Sister Stephanie Mongeon
