Bishop Wester begins pastoral visits

Father James Blaine, pastor of Saint Peter Parish in American Fork, gives a brief history of the church during the pastoral visit of the Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City, March 21-23. Bishop Wester has begun a series of visits to parishes throughout the diocese. During the weekends, he will attend various events that coincide with his visit. While in American Fork, Bishop Wester attended a Diocesan Pastoral Council meeting, celebrated the weekend Masses and visited the prison. In April, Bishop Wester will visit Saint Marguerite Parish in Tooele, where he will officiate at the Sacrament of Confirmation, celebrate Mass, visit Saint Marguerite School and Dugway.
