Father Patrick Reuse, SJ, pastor of St. Henry Parish, blesses the newest ultrasound purchased by the Knights of Columbus councils and assemblies in Utah. The funds raised for this purpose are matched by a contribution from the Catholic fraternal organization’s Supreme Council, headquartered in Connecticut. This is the third ultrasound that has been donated by the Knights in the state; it was given to the Pregnancy Care Center of Brigham City. Shown with Fr. Reuse are Terry Fuller, a St. Henry parishioner and registered nurse who operates the ultrasound at the facility, and Greg Keller, the Knights’ Utah State Deputy. Up to 88 percent of women who are considering abortion and who are able to see their baby’s heartbeat change their mind, Fuller said. In November, she provided 12 ultrasounds on the recently donated machine.
