Brother James (Anthony) Ornelas, S.S.S.

Blessed Sacrament Brother James (Anthony) Ornelas, 58, died March 20 in Houston, Texas. Brother Anthony grew up in Sacred Heart Parish in Salt Lake City, and from 2001 to 2006 he ministered to Utah's Tongan community, receiving a title as ”Honorary Noble." He also was deputy director for the Salt Lake City Police Department Chaplains. A vigil  service will be held Wednesday, March 26, 6-8 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South, Salt Lake City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Thursday, March 27, at St. Ann Catholic Church.
