Bryan Haruo Kawamura

OGDEN — Bryan Haruo Kawamura, 72, passed away on May 29, 2014. 

Kawamura was born July 19, 1941 in Denver, Colo., to Fred Nobuichi and Michiko Miyake Kawamura. He married Diane Zacher on Sept. 16, 1967 in Ogden. He entered the U.S. Navy after high school. He was employed at Hill Air Force Base and earned an accounting degree from Weber State University. After retiring from HAFB, he was self-employed. 

Kawamura is survived by wife Diane; daughter Stephanie; son Nathan (Corky); four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; Katherine Kawamura, Lil Masamori, Albert (Frances) Kawamura, Frances (Jun) Hamai, William (Gail) Kawamura and Jeanette (George) Tomomitsu.

Kawamura was preceded in death by his parents; brothers George, Ted and Arthur; and two grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint James the Just Catholic Church.
