SALT LAKE CITY — Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and school and Judge Memorial High School were vandalized some time after Christmas.
The Salt Lake City Police Department responded on Dec. 27 to reports of graffiti on the three buildings, and is asking for the public’s help to find those responsible for spray-painting anti-religious phrases, swear words and other images on large sections of the buildings.
“We are saddened by the vandalism that has occurred at Our Lady of Lourdes Church and School and at Judge Memorial Catholic High School. These buildings are places of learning and worship in our community where all are welcome,” said the Diocese of Salt Lake City in the press statement.
