SALT LAKE CITY — Cynthia Camille Johannsen (Ulibarri), 50, passed away on Sept. 21, 2011, due to complications with diabetes while waiting for an organ transplant.

Johannsen was born on July 1, 1961 in Salt Lake City, to Jose Trinidad Ulibarri, Jr. and Rosa Gallegos Ulibarri (Williams). Cyndi marred to Bob Rogers, later divorced. She then married Michael Johannsen on Oct. 13, 1995.

Johannsen is survived by her mother Rosa, parents-in-law Duane and Beverly Johannsen, sister Sabrina Carmel, brothers Robert Joe, Kelly-Joe, and Joshua Estevan (Stormie Sanchez-Ulibarri); daughter Haley Brooke and sons Jeremiah (JJ) Johannsen and Thomas (Tommy) Nelson.

Johannsen is preceded in death by her husband Michael, father Joe, brother Rodney and stepfather Anthony "Chief" Williams.

Johannsen had a career in banking, where she became a branch manager. She earned an associates degree in business. Cyndi was Roman Catholic and taught religion to young children at Saint Francis Xavier Parish.
