SALT LAKE CITY — Dean D. Gallegos, 59, died April 15, 2011 due to a heart attack. Gallegos was born Oct. 30, 1951 in Salt Lake City to Arthur S. and Josephine Gaitin Gallegos. He was a great husband and father and his family was blessed to have him in their lives. He lived a great life and he loved fishing, camping, and the outdoors. He loved spending time with his family. He fought his illness for many years and suffered for many years. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette V. Gallegos; father, Arthur; daughters Heidi (Ricardo) Flores, Josie (Brett) Hymas, and Amanda Gallegos; sons Arthur (Natasha) Gallegos and Dean Sainsbury; 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, sisters, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Ann Catholic Church.
