Dispensation from Lenten Friday Abstinence for Saint Patrick's Day

Bishop Oscar A. Solis has dispensed from the normal Lenten Friday Abstinence (from eating meat) those seeking such throughout the Diocese on March 17, 2023 – Saint Patrick’s Day. The faithful who so desire are encouraged to exchange that day of abstinence for another day of their choosing, or a spiritual activity like praying the rosary in place of abstaining that day.
