Documentary screening

Catholic Community Services of Utah is hosting two free screenings of “Lost Boys of Sudan,” a documentary that follows Sudanese refugees on their journey from Africa to America. After the screening, a panel discussion will be held. Among the panel members will be one of the Lost Boys and other former refugees. In lieu of admission, a donation of a first aid kit, a fire extinguisher, or a financial contribution is requested. The donations will be given to newly arrived refugee families. 

The screening will be Friday, Aug. 26, 6-8:30 p.m. in Provo Library Conference Room 201, 550 North University Ave., Provo; and Thursday, Sept. 1, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Salt Lake City Library auditorium, 210 East 400 South, SLC. For information, visit www.ccsutah.org.
