Donald Musich

HURRICANE — Donald Joseph Musich, 83, passed away July 6, 2015. 

Musich was born Aug. 10, 1931, in Yonkers, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He later met and married Carol Schumacher in Aurora, Ill. on June 25, 1955. He worked all his life as an electrician. He was instrumental in creating the church in Hurricane known as St. Paul’s Catholic Center. His tireless energy was evident in the parish newsletter. 

Musich is survived by his wife, Carol Musich; children and spouses Marie and Terry Barefoot, Roseanne and Matt Frauens, Chris and Neil Swanson, Joe Musich, Beth Musich, Karen and Ken Hodge, and Donna Musich; 10 grandchildren; and siblings Rich Musich and Barb Reynolds. 

Musich was preceded in death by daughter Annette Musich and sister Pat Landorf.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Paul’s Catholic Center.
