SALT LAKE CITY — Edith Gertrude Nicholls Hazelrigg, 91, passed away Sept. 2, 2011.

Hazelrigg was born in Salt Lake City to Katherine Grace Sweeney and Archibald Nicholls on Sept. 29, 1919. She was married to Arthur Francis Hazelrigg on Aug. 22, 1937. They married again in the church of Lady of Guadalupe on Aug. 7, 1949. She was an active member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and worked at Hill Air Force Base from 1964 to 1986.

Hazelrigg is survived by three of her children: Arthur Lance Hazelrigg, James Jay Hazelrigg, and Joan Loreene Turner (William); three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Hazelrigg was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia M. Harrison.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church.
