SALT LAKE CITY — Efren A. Gallegos, 75, passed away on Jan. 20, 2012 from cancer.

Gallegos was born Nov. 18, 1937. He graduated from West High School and retired from Meadow Gold Dairies.

Gallegos was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter Christy Gallegos; two granddaughters; two brothers, Epifanio and Arthur Gallegos; and sister Josephine.

Gallegos is survived by two daughters, Lisa Kelly and Julie Gallegos; stepson Mark Goodman; sons-in-law, Ernie Herrera and Tom Kelly; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Fred Gallegos, Al Gallegos Jr., Andy (Joan) Gallegos, Dick Gallegos and sister, Gloria (Bill) Peters.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
