Fall Priest Convocation

Fr. Andrew Kemberling addresses the fall convocation of the priests of the Diocese of Salt Lake City on Oct. 2. A renowned expert on the topic of stewardship, Fr. Kemberling suggested that the priests tell people that they are created for God, to know God and to serve God. “When we remind people of that, it helps realign their spirituality so that they see people are more important than things,” he said. Fr. Kemberling, who also presented a stewardship workshop for lay ministers on Oct. 3, pointed out that “being able to give satisfies the need to give that teaches you to love God.”
