Father Janda laid to rest

The Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City (left), officiates at the burial of Father James A. Janda on July 15 at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Salt Lake City. Fr. Janda, who died Aug. 7, 2010, had suffered from emphysema for many years and, to assist the medical field, he donated his body to the University Medical Center for research. Fr. Janda was buried in the priests’ plot at the cemetery.
