The Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City, receives a statue of Saint Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila during the annual Bishop’s Mass for the Filipino community, which was celebrated Aug. 7 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Salt Lake City. St. Lorenzo was the first Filipino saint.
