Frances G. Marron

SALT LAKE CITY — Frances Gasparac Marron, 94, passed away on Jan. 15, 2015.
Marron was born in Park City, on Dec. 7, 1920 to Jennie Lake and Joseph Gasparac. She attended Saint Mary’s Catholic school. She was employed by Palace Grocery, then the Office of Price Administration and the VA Hospital. She married Peter O. Marron on May 7, 1949 in Salt Lake City. A founding member of Saint Ambrose Parish, she was active in the Altar Society, Catholic Woman’s League, the Catholic Women’s bowling league and sung in the Saint Ambrose church choir.
Marron is survived by children Peter (Sharon), Pamela Sewell and Michael (Kimberly); six grandchildren; sister Louise; and many nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Joseph and Frank, and uncle George.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
