Gail K. Witkowski

NEWTON, KS — Gail K. Witkowski, 78, passed away April 27, 2012.

Witkowski was born Oct. 17, 1933 at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii to H.G. and Phamie McFeely. She married Anthony J. Witkowski on March 3, 1962 in The Azores, Portugal.

Witkowski was a teacher for more than 50 years for Department of Defense schools all over the world, along with Catholic schools in Maryland and Nevada and public schools in Utah. She was a devout Catholic and taught many religious and First Communion classes. She also played the hand bell in a special group at her Catholic church in Reno, Nev.

Witkowski is survived by her husband, Anthony J. Witkowski; daughters G. Kathleen Inlow (Matthew), Elizabeth A. Lindsley (Jim) and Rebecca S. Witkowski; sons A. John Witkowski (Lorri), Alexander (Sandy) H. Witkowski (Pam); 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and brother David G. McFeely.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary was celebrated at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church.
