Glenda Faye Emerson

SALT LAKE CITY — Glenda Faye Emerson, 75, passed away Jan. 29, 2015.

Emerson was born in Mitchell, S.D., on Aug. 28, 1939 to  Bernard and Earline Gross. She married James Emerson; they later divorced. She was a member of Saint Marguerite Parish, worked at Tooele Army Depot, and was an avid volunteer for many service organizations.

Emerson is survived by children Gary Emerson (Carma Painter), Lori Culley, and Jimmie Emerson; brother Mike Gross (Debbie); sisters Karen Knowles, Julie Putnam (Earle), Rosemary Bisner (Phil), Mary Beth Baker, and Pam Hoepfl (Randy); eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Mark; brother Pat Gross; and brothers-in-law Greg Heizer, Gary Baker, Marv Anderson and Terry Knowles.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Marguerite Catholic Church.
