SALT LAKE CITY — Grace Evelyn Green Bernini, 91, passed away Dec. 7, 2012. Bernini was born Nov. 25, 1921 in Tawatinaw, Alberta, Canada to Leo and Maude Eveline Wiley Green. She married Joseph Bernini April 12, 1943. Bernini was a volunteer for St. Patrick Catholic Parish in Eureka, where she was named Woman of the Year. She was a lifetime member of the Lady Elks, secretary/treasurer for the Juab County Democratic Party and a reporter, photographer and later editor of the Eureka Reporter. Bernini is survived by sons David (Linda) and James (Christine); two grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers John, Jim, Nick and Dominick; sister-in-law Theodora and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents Leo, Maude and Edythe Ivy Green; husband Joe; sister Leona (Darrell) and brother Bob. A funeral Mass was celebrated at San Andres Catholic Church.
