Happy anniversary, Bishop Wester

The Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City, celebrated the 16th anniversary of his episcopal ordination on Sept. 18 beginning with a Mass in the Cathedral of the Madeleine.  Bishop Wester said it was a joy and a gift to celebrate the Mass with those who attended and his brother priests who concelebrated: Monsignor Colin F. Bircumshaw, vicar general; Father Martin Diaz, the cathedral pastor; Father Eleazar Silva, pastor of Sacred Heart Parish; and Father José Barrera Hernández, the cathedral’s parochial vicar.
