Healing liturgies in the diocese

In addition to the Healing Mass at Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Parish, other parishes in the Diocese of Salt Lake City offer healing liturgies. Among them: 

Father Eleazar Silva, pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Salt Lake City, celebrates a First Friday Mass at noon and includes the Anointing of the Sick. 

“Anointing of the Sick is one of the seven sacraments of the Church, and the first Friday of the month is a devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus,” said Fr. Silva.

Saint George Parish in St. George also hosts a first Friday Mass at 8 a.m., that includes the Anointing of the Sick.

The Healing Ministry at Saint John the Baptist Parish in Sandy prays the rosary for the sick on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m., where special intents may be offered.
