In the 2018 Utah Press Association Better Newspaper Contest Awards, the Intermountain Catholic took home two awards in the Group 3 circulation category: second place, Best Editorial, written by Jean Hill; and first place, Best Feature Series, written by Marie Mischel and Laura Vallejo.
