ROOSEVELT — John Allen "Jack" Houston, 65, passed away May 18, 2013. Houston was born Jan. 8, 1948 in Salt Lake City to George E. and Virginia Coltharp Houston. He married MaryAnn Sutton, they later divorced. He then married Dana Killian on Feb. 22, 1984 in Roosevelt. He served two years in Vietnam in the U.S. Army as a military policeman. Houston is survived by mother Virginia C. Houston; four children: Jacoba (Greg) Disinger, James Allen Houston, AnnaMarie (Booker) Tueller and Michael Ross (Brittany) Houston; siblings Bill (Robin) Houston, Thomas (Melinda) Houston, Bob (Mary) Houston, Sam (Toni) Houston, Peggy (Mark) Mitchell, Dorothy (Dean) Pope, Catherine (Larry) Houston, Louise (Forrest) Dupre, Ed (Lisa) Houston and Marie (Paul) Regimbal; four granddaughters; three grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews. Houston was preceded in death by father George; brother Frank Houston and niece Jaime Houston. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Helen Catholic Church.
