PRICE — John B. Angotti, 80, passed away May 29, 2011 after a lengthy illness in Price. He was born Dec. 24, 1930 in Columbia, Utah to Salvatore "Sam" and Catherine Guzzo Angotti. He married Mary Bozolakis June 9, 1962 in Price. He was instrumental in organizing KNOCA and Christmas Tree Regalia at Castle Heights Elementary. He was awarded the bronze statue as Child Advocate of the Year for Utah. In 2007, he was named Grand Marshall of Carbon County International Days Parade. He was a member of the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, lifetime honorary member of the P.T.A., life member Price Elk’s Lodge #1550, and chairman of the Price Planning and Zoning for many years. Survived by his loving wife, Mary Angotti, Price; son, Michael John Angotti, Seattle, Wash.; daughter, Catherine Alane, Price; two grandchildren, John Daniel and Mykell Alane, both of Price; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Antone (WWII); sisters, Mary (Dominic) Paloni, Ann (Ross) Oliveto, Rose (Louis) Grako, Angie (George) Farlaino. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, Price.
