Karen Rae Feltz

Karen Rae Feltz died on February 10, 2024, at the age of 78.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri to Irene and Caesar Ponciroli, she moved to Utah shortly after being married and began raising a family, who were always the joy and pride of her life. While raising her family, she worked as a front office manager for an orthopedist and allergist in the Provo/Orem area, where her welcoming presence was much appreciated by patients and their families.

In her later years she was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, which slowly diminished her ability to communicate with others and do things for herself. For the last three years of her life, she was able to remain in her home, where she was cared for by her husband, Kent.

She was preceded in death by her brother Ron, sister Jill and granddaughter Cecilia. She is survived by three sisters Linda, Becky, Jan; husband Kent; children Alan, Brian (Kirsty), Kevin (Dianne), Sara; and grandchildren Ian, Annabeth, Megan.

With her ever playful spirit and smiling countenance, she always enjoyed spending time with her family, helping others and volunteering her time. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial Mass will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 65 East 500 North, Orem on June 5 at 1 p.m.
