Diocesan retreat: Saturday, March 5, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 1375 E. Spring Lane, SLC. The cost is $15, which includes a Lenten luncheon. Lenten Retreat: Saturday, March 5, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., St. George Catholic Church’s Kuzy Hall, 259 West 200 North, St. George. Speakers will be Father Rick Sherman, Christ the King Parish; Carol Drake of St. George Parish; Carol Hollowell, director Switchpoint Community Resource Center; and a guest speaker who is a client of Switchpoint. Lunch will be provided. Stations of the Cross will follow the retreat. Suggested $10 donation; proceeds to benefit Switchpoint Resource Center children’s playground. Silent Marian Retreat: Saturday, March 12, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., followed by Mass, St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven. The guest speaker will be John W. Galten of the Diocese of Santa Rosa, Calif., retreat master for Ignatius Press. Other speakers will be Father Gustavo Vidal, pastor; and Robert Catlin, lay ecclesial minster. Deacon Jack Clark will lead the Eucharistic adoration and prayer. Suggested $10 donation includes materials, lunch and snacks. For information, call Donna, 801-898-3821.
