Margaret Louise Lethenstrom died June 4, 2016 at her home. She was born May 15, 1917 in Springfield, Minn. to Albert Gustav and Anna Marie Lehrer Nuessle.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wallace, in 2004; two daughters, Jane in 2002 and Mary in 2007; and grandchildren Heidi and Eli.
She is survived by three sons: Peter, Paul, and James; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Margaret was deeply loved by her family and friends. She delighted in the simple things in life and will be remembered for her ability to “Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side of life.” She was a sweet, ideal grandma and was a great example of being content with what you have. Her devotion to family, friends and faith was a great example of love and caring that were shown to all who knew her. She never missed sending a birthday card to her large flock, stuffed with clipped articles and a nice note. She was a great model of lifelong learning and caring. We have so many food memories and her memory will live on in her Christmas cookies. Margaret developed many relationships doing what she loved the most, playing bridge with friends.
Margaret was a true lady who was always concerned for others, who ran with an open mind, and most definitely saw the “Light” as she came into the world. She lived in peace.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
