SALT LAKE CITY — Mary E. Pickford, "Tup," 71, passed away June 20, 2013 due to complications from kidney cancer. Pickford was born July 1, 1941 in Salt Lake City to Cyril and Alice Delaney Pickford. She was a graduate of Saint Mary of the Wasatch Catholic School and National University. She was a teacher’s aide at J.E. Cosgriff Memorial School, and a teacher at Our Lady of Talpa Catholic School and at a residential facility for girls operated by the Daughters of Charity. Pickford is survived by brother Patrick; niece Joan Biediger (Barry); and nephew Patrick Pickford. Pickford was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Aileen Harris and Alice Pickford. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church.
