Mass with the Carmelites

Celebrating Mass May 20 at the Carmel of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Holladay, Archbishop John C. Wester, administrator of the Diocese of Salt Lake City, told the Carmelite nuns that “your prayerful presence in our diocese is a constant reminder that Jesus is with us. ... Joy is a hallmark of your life as you are so close to the Lord and to one another and to this local Church. And so we thank you in a particular way for reminding us of Christ’s presence calling us joyfully to be one with him forever in heaven.”
