Trappist Father Casimir Bernas, a spokesperson for the Abbey of Our Lady of the Holy Trinity in Huntsvile and the retired abbot, carries his lunch through the dining room of the Lantern House in Ogden, where a large mural is displayed in honor of the monks.

The Lantern House in Ogden has acknowledged the support of the monks of the Abbey of Our Lady of the Holy Trinity in Huntsvile with a large mural in the dining hall. The monks donated $400,000 to help re-build the former St. Ann's homeless center, a nonprofit organization run by an ecumenical group. Trappist Father Casimir Bernas, the retired abbot, visited the Lantern House on April 3 to accept thanks and recognition for the monks' donation. The April 7 Intermountain Catholic will have the story.
