Nativity Scene Brings Meaning of Christmas to Community + Enlarge
By Special to the Intermountain Catholic

The blessing of the nativity scene in the garden at Give Me a Chance in Ogden included Christmas carols sung by a choir comprised of students in the after-school program, with community members joining in. The creche is a gift not only to the adults and children who take classes at Give Me a Chance, but also to the community, because it faces Grant Street, “so everybody driving or walking  by – it’s a very busy street – can be reminded about what Christmas is all about,” said Daughter of Charity Sister Arthur Gordon (left), director of Give Me a Chance. Father Stephen Tilley (standing next to Sr. Arthur), parochial vicar of St. Joseph Parish, blessed the creche.
