Norman N. Suazo

SALT LAKE CITY — Norman N. Suazo, 86, passed away Nov. 30, 2014.

Suazo was born June 8, 1928 in Abiquiu, N.M. to Lucia and Sabino Suazo.  He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, was a member of the Teamsters Union, and retired after 31 years of employment at Consolidated Freightway.  

Suazo is survived by his wife, Leticia Suazo; children James (Maria), Cathy (Charlie), Mike, Diane (Harold), Benjamin, Lucy (Alex); 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and siblings Paul Garcia, Jackie Suazo and Sylvia Suazo. 

He was preceded in death by brother Arturo.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Patrick Catholic Church.
